Game of thrones review season 3 episode 10-Can you imagine how Arya felt when she saw her father’s execution? Well the pain lingers and now it grows bigger when she sees how the Freys massacred her family. Later, as they ride in the woods, Arya overhears some men talking about the Stark massacre and she makes her second kill, she kills one of the men and the Hound kills the rest of them.
They are making jokes about Robb-his head was cut off and instead they put the head of the direwolf on his body. He’s put on a horse like that and people were cheering ironically “The King in the North”. Arya now adds another name to her list-Walder Frey.
The word about the bloody wedding spreads fast. The Lannisters got the word and Joffrey is very eager to deliver the news to Tyrion. He is making jokes of it, wishing he could serve Robb’s head to Sansa at his wedding feast. Tywin is offended by Joffrey’s behavior and tells Cersei to send the King to rest because he’s tired.
Tywin and Tyrion stay alone and talk about the North. Bolton will be warden of the North until Tyrion’s son with Sansa comes of an age. Tyrion confronts his father, asking him when he did something that wasn’t according to his will.
Tywin tells Tyrion that he wanted to drown him in the sea when Tyrion was a baby but he decided to raise him because he’s a Lannister. Again we hear the harsh truth, the truth about a father who doesn’t love his son and to be the tragedy even greater he tells Tyrion these things.
While waiting in the tower of the Watch, Bran tells a scary story, the story about the Rat cook. The cook in the Night’s watch was angry at the king, and when the king was visiting the Night’s Watch, the cook killed the king’s son and cooked him in a pie.
He served it to the king and as a punishment the gods turned him into a giant white rat that eats his young babies. The punishment was so harsh because he killed a guest under his roof, something that the gods won’t forgive.
Walder Frey and Bolton speak about their success, the Starks are dead, Bolton is warden of the North and Frey has the support of the Lanisters now. Bolton tells him about his bastard son Ramsay, how he handled Theon and the Ironborns.
Ramsay continues torturing Theon, he gives him a new name-Reek. Ramsey sent Theon’s cock to his father and Baelon doesn’t wish to save his son. But Yara takes her men and decides to save her little brother from the monsters that torture him.
Sam and Gilly managed to the Wall and they entered a secret tunnel that leads them straight to Bran and his friends. Sam recognizes Bran due to the direwolf and tells them he is friends with Jon Snow. Sam tries to convince Bran to come with him at Castle Black, but Bran is determined to go beyond the Wall.
They are all aware about the army of the dead. Sam tells Bran how he killed a White Walker and gives the weapon to Bran so they say goodbye. Oh poor souls, they know but they are not truly aware how big the army of the dead is. They can’t even imagine.
Varys meets with Shae, he gives her diamonds and advises her to leave the city so that she can find happiness somewhere else, to leave Tyrion. Angry with this action, Shae throws the bag and tells Varys that Tyrion should tell her these things if he wants her to leave the city.
Ser Davos meets Gendry in a dungeon, they talk about different topics. Later that day, while Davos has his reading lessons with the princess he hears bells tolling. Davos visits Stannis and learns that the Starks are dead and listens to their plan for Gendry.
Melisande will sacrifice the boy to the Lord of Light. Davos decides to release Gendry, knowing the intention that Melsande has for the boy. Davos gives Gendry a boat and money and sees him off, telling Gendry which direction to sail.
Stannis finds out about Davos’ treason and sentence him to death. Davos tells Stannis that in the war that is yet to come, he will need Davos alive. Melissande sees that in the fire and tells Stannis not to execute Davos. Davos is saved by the Lord of Light now.
Jon Snow escaped the wildling in episode 9 of season 3 in Game of thrones but Ygritte found him. She aims her arrow and Jon asks her to leave him be, because he was always faithful to the Watch and she knew that.
But Ygritte had her heart broken by Jon and so she shots Jon as he tries to escape on his horse. Badly wounded, he arrives at Castle Black where his brothers take him inside and check if he is conscious. Jon recognizes his brothers and he is glad he’s home.
Sam and Gilly have also made it into Castle Black. Sam told the Maester what has happened beyond the wall and asked permission for Gilly to stay in there with her baby.
Daenerys stands at the gates of Yunkai and waits for the slaves to come out. She gives a speech about freedom and people start cheering her, calling her “Mhysa” which means “Mother”. Daenerys goes to the crowd and they raise her up in their arms.
