Game of thrones review Season 4 episode 3-The ending of the previous episode has brought us the pleasure of Joffrey’s death. I am sure that most of you wanted to see him dead.
Cersei cries and blames Tyrion for Jorrfey’s death and immediately asks for Sansa. Sansa is nowhere to be seen, yet we see her fleeing the city with the fool whose life she saved. In return, now he’s helping Sansa, at least that is what she thinks.
Later in the night, we see Sansa being brought on a ship where Lord Baelish welcomes her. And it’s very clear now who really helped Sansa and why. Baelish kills the fool so that he can be forever silenced and tells Sansa about the necklace she wore- it was the murder weapon, it had poison inside the gems.
But wait, isn’t that the same necklace that Margaery had on the wedding? We see now Lady Olenna talking to her granddaughter, telling her not to be disappointed because the Lannisters have one more son so Margaery can still be queen.
Standing over her son’s dead body, Cersei asks Jaime to revenge their son, she is sure that Tyrion is responsible, repeating his threatening words about her misfortune that will come upon her. While talking, Jaime takes Cersei and makes love to her next to their dead son’s body. Weird people.
Tywin visits prince Oberyn in the pleasure house and wishes to speak with him in private. They talk about the past and Oberyn tries to get some information about his sister’s murder. Instead, Oberyn receives an invitation from Tywin, he asks Oberyn to be one of the judges on Tyrion’s trial.
Tyrion spends his days in a dungeon now. Poddrick visits him and tells him that he was offered a title if he witness against Tyrion and say that Tyrion is the one who poisoned the king. Tyrion asks Poddrick about his decision but the young boy says he will never betray Tyrion. Because of that, Tyrion tells him to run away from the capitol and save his life.
Wishing to save her from the men of the Watch, Sam takes Gilly to Mole’s Town and leaves her there with her baby. Gilly is angry that Sam leaves her there but he convinces her that this is the best option for her safety. She will work there and have shelter and food and no one will bother her. Sam promises to visit her whenever he can.
But no place is safe since the wildlings have crossed the wall. We see Tormund and Ygritte together with some Thenns raiding a village next to Mole’s Town. They kill every man, woman and child except one boy. One of the Thenns tells the boy he will eat his dead mum and dad and sends the boy to Castle Black to inform the men of the Watch that they will come after them as well.
We see the boy in Castle Black and the brothers discuss the situation. At the same time Pip and Edd return from Craster’s place. They deliver the news from there, how the men mutinied and enjoy themselves with Craster’s wives and food. Jon suggests that they should go back to Crasters’s place and silence the mutineers before Mance gets to them.
Jon told Mance that there are 1000 men in Castle Black and lied about the weak spots of the Castle. If Mance gets to the mutineers first and learns the truth, everyone in Castle Black is doomed.
Daenerys arrives at the gates in Mereen . The masters sent their best soldier who mocks the queen together with her eunuch army and challenges them to a fight.
Daario fights the man and kills him with a single shot. The masters remain mute and now Daenerys speaks to the slaves, offering them their freedom and as a demonstration her army throws wooden barrels in the city.
When the barrels brake against the walls of the city, countless chains from slaves fall on the ground. The slaves in Mereen see the chains and they look at the masters with doubts. Will these slaves decide to free themselves from the masters with the help of Daenerys?
