Game of thrones review season 5 episode 3 – Arya has been moping the floors for days, and now she asks Jaqen when she will start to learn and become one of the faceless. He reminds her that she must serve The Many Faced God and to serve well she must become no one. Later, a Waif starts asking Arya questions and beats her for her lies.
Jaqen stops this and tells Arya to get rid of everything that reminds her of her life as Arya, like the clothes and the sword. To satisfy Jaqen, Arya throws everything in the water except for her sword that she hides in a pile of rocks.
After the weeding, King Tommen and Queen Margaery consume the marriage. The new Queen softens Tommen before reminding him that he will always be his mother’s baby boy and she will never let him out of her site. The next day Tommen asks his mother if she would be happier back home in Casterly Rock. Cersei pays a visit to Margaery where she is politely mocked by Margaery.
Sansa discovers that Littlefinger’s marriage proposal was in fact for her and Ramsey Bolton, the bastard son of Roose Bolton. Sansa says that she would die before she marries the man who betrayed her brother, but Littlefinger quickly changes her mind, suggesting that she should avenge her family. They both arrive at Winterfell and are greeted by Roose and Ramsey.
The maid that shows Sansa to her room quietly tells her that the North remembers.Later, Ramsey thanks Lord Baelish and makes a promise never to hurt Sansa, but Roose has concerns about the pact with Littlefinger.
Brienne and Pod still follow Sansa. They both exchange their stories about how Pod became a squire and Brienne about the time when Renley Baratheon saved her, but she couldn’t save him.
She says that Renley was killed by a shadow with the face of Stannis, and Stannis is the man she is going to kill.
Jon Snow receives Stannis and Davos at his chambers in Castle Black where he refuses the offer made by Stannis in the previous episode of game of Thrones season 5. Jon, as the new commander of The Watch, gives ser Alliser respect and names him first Ranger and he sends Janos to Greyguard, one of the outposts.
Janos doesn’t like it and greatly offends Jon in front of everyone. Jon gives the order that Janos be taken outside and as he begs for mercy Jon beheads him.
The High Septon is captured by the sparrows in one of Littlefingers brothels. They forced him to walk naked on the streets, calling him a sinner. The common people are laughing at him while the sparrows beat him. Later, he goes to Cersei to complain about the attack made on him and Cersei learns about the High Sparrow so she goes to pay him a visit.
Amongst the other things, she tells him that she locked the High Septon in the dungeons, and that the Crown and the faith are the two things that hold the world together, expressing the need to protect one another. Later, as Cersei visits Qyburn’s lab, we can see something resembling a huge body covered in a white sheet making a quick movement.
Tyrion gets his way and after almost losing his mind says to Varys that he must go out, despite Varys protesting that it’s not safe and there are a lot of men looking for him. While walking through Volantis, they see a Red Priestess preaching about The Dragon Queen. They both end up in a brothel. After being a little carless, Tyrion is being kidnapped by a man saying that he is taking him to the Queen.
