Game of Thrones had a great run with Season 6, and that is why it has been doing so well this awards season.The show has nominations for every award show considering the genre the show is in.
It’s also winning quite a lot of them, too. The latest awards that Game of Thrones has won are coming straight from the Visual Effects Society (VES) Awards.
VES Awards honors the best in visual effects in which Game of Thrones absolutely dominated.
Game of Thrones had bagged a whopping 11 nominations at the Visual Effects Society (VES) Awards, in 6 categories, with multiple nominations in some categories.
At the ceremony for the 15th Annual VES Awards, which was recently held, Game of Thrones won in five of the six nominated categories. Here are the categories the show won in :
