The filming of season 7 is already happening. Various spoiler images circle around the social media and fans are constantly making predictions for the upcoming season. Very interesting theories appeared and we have the most interesting ones packed in this article. Are you ready to find out the most interesting predictions for Game of Thrones season 7? Here we go!
It’s very possible to see a full Stark reunion in season 7 since Arya is on her way home and Bran determined to go south in season 6. We saw Arya killing the Freys so she is very close to home. Jon and Sansa are already in Winterfell so we are waiting for Arya and Bran to arrive.
Unfortunately, Bran will deliver the news of Jon’s true parentage and this may cause changes is the family relationships. Let’s hope that the four remaining Starks will unite against their enemies.
Season six ended with the truth about Jon’s origin. He is indeed the child of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark. However, Jon Snow knows nothing about it and still behaves as the illegitimate son of Ned Stark. Sooner than later, a Stark reunion will occur and Jon will definitely learn the truth. How? Well, Bran was the one who discovered it, so he is probably eager to deliver it to Snow.
But the real question is: how Jon will react to this startling revelation? Whatever decision Jon may make it’s more than sure that the Seven Kingdoms will be shaken up once the truth about Jon’s origin comes to light.
Sansa is one of the most difficult characters to get a read on from the first till the last season. Her transition from victim to power player has come to light. It’s obvious that she’s gained confidence and strength, but also she got thirst for power. The thirst for power is currently bothering her whether she should stay with her “brother” Jon, or to choose Littlefinger as her husband with whom she will make a play for the Iron Throne.
Although we were left with under the impression that Sansa is more eager to choose the latter, it’s also important to remember that Littlefinger was the one who gave away Sansa to Ramsay Bolton. This new, harder Sansa will not forget or forgive Littlefinger. She may play his game for a while and the odds are that Sansa is probably going to put a knife Littlefinger.
Arya Stark managed to shorten her kill list a lot. With Walder Frey’s death, Arya is getting very close to her final revenge, just a name or two are left. She is very close to home and probably headed to Winterfell. On the contrary, Melisandre is travelling away from Winterfell and the two will probably meet.
Since Melisandre is on Arya’s list, we may as well see Arya making another kill, but it’s difficult to say. Melisandre has quite lot information about Arya’s family so she may convince Arya to spare her life.
Jaime Lannister left us with the impression that he is facing the biggest crisis of conscience. His sister/lover has become the “Mad” Queen of Westeros and his little brother is coming back as Daenerys Targaryen’s most trusted adviser. On the other hand, Jaime’s friend-crush Brienne has joined the Starks who may as well decide to go after the long wanted revenge.
“The things I do for love,” Jaime reminded us very often, but the heavy look that he gives Cersei in the season six finale indicates that he is not fully supportive of Cersei or her actions. No matter what he thought, he is probably going to kill somebody he loves.
